Coffee Drips On-The-Go! (featuring My Simple Syrup Recipe)

I used to hate coffee but now, I literally cannot live without it.

Brewed coffee is always the best kind of coffee plus it does its job to keep you awake and energized, especially when you have to pull-out an all-nighter. Great coffee is commonly enjoyed in coffee shops but most of the time, it can be quite costly especially when you have it customized. Coffee beans and coffee grounds are now readily available in the market with good prices which means, you can have access to having a good brewed cup of coffee at home. Although you do have access to getting grounds, how will you brew it? Of course, you need equipment! The most basic method is using coffee filters with a funnel dripper (this method is also know as Pour over coffee) and if you really are willing to spend, a coffee maker or machine can be used.

"This is gonna take me awhile, I'm gonna be late!"

You're on a rush for class or work? You definitely won't get there on time with the coffee-making process. Have you heard of coffee drip bags? No? You're missing out.

Let me introduce you to Drip Street by The Dairy Street Rizal. The Dairy Street Rizal is a small business, based in Rizal, that sells locally produced dairy products such as carabao milk, cow's milk, chocolate milk, french vanilla coffee milk, kesong puti, and a wide flavor variation of yoghurts (by the way, all their products are a must-try!). They later expanded the business and opened up another small business, still under their name, wherein they sell grounded coffee packed in small drip bags. No more coffee filter and funnel dripper or coffee machine needed!

Flavored Coffee Drips ( 160 Php )

There are 6 different flavors to choose from: Hazelnut, Mocha, Butterscotch, Macadamia, Caramel and an uncommon flavor for coffee, Bailey's Irish Cream. I tried all of their flavored coffee drips and my favorite was their Bailey's Irish Cream and Caramel coffee drips! Their bestsellers from the 6 variants are Hazelnut, Butterscotch and Bailey's Irish Cream. Their coffee drips each have a really good and strong flavor. I love drinking them, iced, so what I do is I brew it first in a mug then transfer to another cup with ice with 2 shots of milk and 1 shot of my homemade vanilla simple syrup ( recipe can be found below this blog ).

Classic Coffee Drips ( 140 Php )

Nothing like the good ol' classics. There are 4 kinds of classic drips available : Arabica, Kalinga Dark, Espresso blend and Benguet Blend. When I tried their classic drips, I was awake... for a long time. It really helped me not fall asleep during my 7:30 am to 6:00 pm classes. Their Arabica and Kalinga Dark are their bestsellers for their Classic Coffee Drips but nonetheless, all 4 variants are worth a try!

Overall, Drip Street's coffee drips are definitely worth a try! What's great is that you can make your own coffee creations on your own, however you want and save so much than spending on a cup at an over-hyped coffee shop. You'll spend only 28 to 32 Php per cup on this one.

Love milk in your coffee? Try out The Dairy Street Rizal's Cow's Milk (180 Php per liter) or if you rather use Carabao Milk (210 Php per liter), with your coffee. I promise you, you'll take your coffee experience to the next level!
